Preferred Provider Services, LLC, was founded by Bobbie Livingston, MD, in 2007. It is a group of physicians, extenders and consultants who are committed to delivery of healthcare to high acuity patients outside of the hospital.

PPS is a true collaboration between the facility and medical team with the needs of the highly complex medical patient through increased physician presence and seven-day-a-week nursing triage services.

The PPS team consists of physicians and extenders who utilize consultant help from a palliative care team, certified wound nurse, psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse specialist, and hospice team when appropriate.

PPS treats patients in rehabilitation units, skills nursing facilities, retirement communities and private homes.

The PPS team uses a centralized electronic database for reliable, electronic communication between medical providers, hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories.
